Choreography

As a choreographer and performer I have a strong relationship with music, its layers and how movement, acting and ones voice can align with those layers. In my career I'm really interested in shifting the theatrical dance world particularly to incorporate all styles, abilities, and strengths. I want to be able to show through my dance and choreography that there is no 'wrong' or 'right' way to dance. The possibilities are endless and story is essential. In all of my choreographic work I aim to create intricate stories.

Similar to performing I have been choreographing for as long as I can remember. On every road trip as a kid I had my headphones in listening to music and creating movement stories in my head. It wasn’t until middle and high school that I got to put my moves onto other bodies as I co-choreographed or head-choreographed nearly every theatrical production we did.

In 2022 I had the honor of being the Original Choreographer for the World Premiere of American Siren, a new musical written by Nina Osso. It was during that process where my distinct and unique choreographic style took shape.

I take inspiration from many great choreographers: Bob Fosse, JA Collective, and Pina Bausch are three who have most strongly influenced my style.

Most recently I choreographed and assistant directed a production of Bare: A Pop Opera that was put on through Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
